– Kerryn Powell

I’m Kerryn Powell — The Network Catalyst — and I believe deeply in the power of real connection and the power of conversation.

My journey has been shaped by life’s twists and turns — moments of uncertainty, reinvention and rediscovery. I know what it feels like to lack direction or support, and I also know the shift that happens when the right conversation opens a door you didn’t even know was there.

That experience is why I do what I do.

I work with people who care about impact — changemakers, problem solvers, community builders and leaders — and who sense there is more possible, even if they can’t yet see the pathway .

My Story: From Life’s Challenges to Meaningful Connection

Growing up, I saw the struggles that often come with navigating life and business. My parents owned a small business, and while they worked hard, they often lacked the network and support they needed to overcome challenges. Their experiences taught me the value of having strong connections and a reliable support system.

Later in life, after my parents’ divorce, I had to carve out my own path. I experienced moments of loneliness, uncertainty, and self-doubt—emotions that are all too common in both life and business. These experiences taught me resilience and deepened my understanding of how crucial it is to have the right people around you.

Over the years, I’ve worn many hats—teacher, event organizer, business owner, relocation manager, and facilitator. Each chapter of my life has connected me with diverse people and perspectives, showing me again and again that relationships are the key to navigating challenges, achieving goals, and creating a fulfilling life.

One of the most profound lessons I’ve learned came from attending over fifty funerals. In each eulogy, it wasn’t wealth or achievements that stood out—it was the relationships that person had built and the impact they’d made on others. This shaped my belief that life is about making meaningful connections, creating a ripple effect, and leaving a legacy that matters.

What I believe

To me, a network isn’t about business cards or polished pitches.

It’s a community of people who care, who are curious, and who are willing to listen to different perspectives.

We don’t connect through performance.

We connect through truth, real life and genuine conversation.

And when those connections are intentional — when conversations are given the time and attention they deserve — trust is built and transformation begins.

If you’re navigating change, growing something meaningful, or simply wanting to connect more deeply and purposefully, you don’t have to do it alone.

What This Means for You

I understand this work because I’ve lived it. That experience shapes how I show up and why I’m so committed to creating space for honest, meaningful conversation.

I don’t rush people or prescribe answers. I believe real change happens when people feel safe to be themselves, are genuinely heard, and have the support to explore what’s possible.

Because of my own journey, I understand how uncertain and uncomfortable conversations can feel — especially when you’re navigating change or trying to find your way forward. I’ve been there, and that’s why I’m deeply committed to guiding and supporting others through that space.

How I Can Support and Guide You

I support professionals, business owners and changemakers as they navigate the barriers that can make connection feel awkward or effortful.

My role is to help you see conversations differently — not as something to perform or push through, but as a way to explore ideas, build confidence and open up new possibilities.

Sometimes that support comes through conversation, sometimes through perspective — but always in a way that aligns with who you are and what matters to you.

It’s about truth, real life, and being willing to listen — to ourselves and to each other.

When people feel safe to be themselves, when they are genuinely heard, trust is built and transformation begins.

If this resonates, let’s start with one conversation — and explore what becomes possible from there.”
