Catalyst Dinner
What We've Learned. Where We're Going. And What We Need. November 2026 | Melbourne | 18 seats

At the start of this year, you knew you were looking for more.

More meaningful connection. More conversations that actually went somewhere. More people who got what you were building and why it mattered.

And then you said yes to something that was still finding its shape.

This dinner is a moment to pause before the year closes. To sit with the people who have been part of this with you. To reflect honestly on what the year has taught you, where you are headed, and — perhaps most importantly — what you still need to get there.

No presentations. No agenda. Just a table of people who show up with intention and leave with something they didn't expect.

Come ready to reflect. Come ready to share. Come ready to listen.

Because the conversation that changes something for you in 2027 might begin at this table.

Catalyst Dinners are intimate by design — capped at eighteen, first names only.

Members receive first access to seats before they open more broadly.

Now that's it. Well done today Kerryn. Truly. 💙

About This Evening

We don't often get asked how we actually got here. Not the elevator-pitch version. The real one.

This dinner is built around that question, and the ones that follow it. Because a real conversation, the kind that goes beneath the surface, changes something in both people. It's not a skill to perform. It's not a means to an outcome. It's the thing itself.

No stage. No spotlight. No pitch. Just people, food, and the kind of conversation that's increasingly rare, and increasingly necessary.

A long wooden dining table set for a Catalyst dinner with Kerryn Powell, with white plates, silverware, glasses, and cloth napkins. Decorative candles and green foliage are placed along the center of the table.

'The Doors Along the Way,' a guided conversation over dinner on July 30, 2026, curated to connect professionals in conversation
Curated dinners are organised in Melbourne by Kerryn Powell. She designs the event around topics that allow men and women in business to connect and build relationships as they unlock opportunities for their persoanl and professional growth.

What to expect

  • Warm and attentive, facilitation by me with conversation prompts woven through evening

  • A small table, a few people, some you may not have met yet, other’s you can strengthen existing connection.

  • Introductions to others, taking away that often uncomfortable start to the night

  • Room to share as much, or as little, as feels right

  • One question at the close that brings the whole table together.

Who is this for

This dinner is for you if —

You're a thoughtful professional, leader, or changemaker who believes a single honest conversation can shift the way you see your work, your direction, or yourself.

You might be navigating a period of growth or transition. You might simply be hungry for a different quality of connection than most professional events offer.

You don't need to arrive with anything prepared. Just come open.

What Others Have Said

"

Kerryn has a unique ability to create spaces where meaningful conversations can happen. She brings people together in a way that feels natural and purposeful, encouraging genuine connection, fresh thinking and the sharing of different perspectives. The conversations Kerryn facilitates often challenge assumptions, broaden perspectives and create opportunities that may not have emerged otherwise.”

Your host and facilitator

Kerryn Powell has spent more than a decade in rooms with thousands of people — watching what happens when someone finally has the conversation they needed to have.

She creates the conditions where real conversation becomes possible. Where people feel safe enough to be honest, curious enough to go deeper, and open enough to be changed by what they hear.

Guests leave her evenings feeling seen, clearer, and genuinely connected.

Part of an Ongoing Series

This dinner is part of the evolving Catalyst Dinner series. Each evening provides space to reflect on your own journey and to listen and connect with others.

It is not necessary to have attended previous dinners. The series has flowed through themes including "What Is Fulfilment?" and most recently "The Conversations That Change Us".

Right now dinners are open to everyone, members get priority booking and hear about them first. As membership grows, dinners may shift to being members-only, so it's a great time to join if you want to be part of them long-term.

Some conversations stay with us — not because they were loud or dramatic, but because they shifted something.

There Is Another Way In

Catalyst is a curated community built around dinners like this one, and what happens in between them. Members get access to resources, recorded sessions, and the ongoing conversation that these evenings start.

Founding membership is available until 30 July, after which the price increases. Join before this dinner and your ticket is complimentary, our way of welcoming you to the table in the most literal sense.

Membership is invitation-based. Kerryn has a conversation with each prospective member first to ensure fit. To find out more or to register your interest, reply directly to Kerryn and she will be in touch.
